We recently had a double birthday celebration for a couple of our residents at Larks Leas Rest Home, our elderly care home in Blandford. Jim was celebrating his 88th birthday while Gordon reached the incredible milestone of triple figures – 100 years old! Party decorations, birthday cake and some tasty beverages made sure everybody was well and truly in the mood to celebrate.

Thankfully we were blessed with weather lovely enough to have a party in the garden. This allowed some family members to pay a visit and join in with the celebrations while also adhering to social distancing guidelines. It also gave Gordon the chance to show off his birthday card from none other than Her Majesty The Queen. With some amazing entertainment courtesy of Andy the Accordion Player a fantastic day was had by all, not least by our birthday boys Jim and Gordon!
