At Larks Leas Rest Home in Blandford, we feel that retirement is a time for connection and laughter, as well as enjoying life’s simple pleasures. With summer in full swing, our residents have made the most of the fine weather by spending time in our beautiful garden and enjoying the outdoors.
Our garden party in June was a true highlight of the season for our residents and their families. The weather was simply perfect, with blue skies and a gentle summer breeze. The talented Shroton Ukulele Band entertained us with lively music that had everyone smiling, creating a cheerful atmosphere. These occasions are a reminder of what makes our retirement home such a welcoming place.
A memorable and touching moment was a surprise gift between two of our residents. Peter, who has a real talent for painting, surprised Joan with a beautiful hand-painted picture of her much-loved dogs, Willow and Bubbles. Joan was absolutely delighted. The artwork truly reflected the personality of her beloved pets and clearly touched her heart.
As a trusted rest home, Larks Leas is more than just a place to live – it offers a true sense of belonging. Whether it’s soaking up the sun in our beautiful garden or the joy of shared celebrations, we create a warm and welcoming environment where every day is meaningful. If you’re looking for a retirement home that offers comfort and community, we’d be delighted to welcome you.
