Welcome to Larks Leas Rest Home
Larks Leas Rest Home is located close to the heart of the old market town of Blandford Forum, noted for its Georgian architecture. Traditionally the town was an important stop over between Weymouth Port and our London capital but now some of the town’s fame can be attributed to Blandford Camp, the military base and home of the Royal Signals found 2 miles out of town. Most of the rooms are en suite, and nearly all enjoy views over the garden itself, with ground floor rooms having direct level access. The attractive landscaped and planted garden offers a haven of tranquility for the care home residents to enjoy whenever they choose.
Operated by Royal Bay Care Homes since January 2004, this Residential Care Home has been substantially modernised with the addition of the luxurious purpose-built Garden Suite with its 9 single en suite rooms, all of which overlook the feature gardens.
Services We Offer
Larks Leas Rest Home is registered to provide care for up to 24 residential clients over the age of 65, in the category of Older Persons. It does not provide nursing care or mentally impaired care (MPE or EMI). The amenities of the house include services such as hairdressing, chiropody and physiotherapy. Personal laundry is included in the weekly fees. Each room is equipped with a ‘Nurse-Call’ terminal, remote control colour television if required and private telephone point.
