Larks Leas Rest Home Residents Receive Some Special Surprises
Those guilty of having a sweet tooth were over the moon when Morrisons supermarket very kindly donated 50 Easter eggs. This was enough to go around and saw each resident and team member enjoy one each. We’d like to thank Morrisons for their wonderfully thoughtful gesture, it definitely raised spirits within the home.
The residents also received an extremely special delivery courtesy of the pupils of nearby Archbishop Wake Primary School. Our very considerate young friends clearly put a lot of time and effort into creating lovely, colourful pictures as well as writing positive and encouraging messages that wished the residents well in these tough times. Everyone within our rest home in Blandford
was hugely appreciative of the impressive artwork and thoughtful messages and they loved looking at each and every one of them.
As well as the kind gestures from those in the local community our residents have also been receiving plenty of support from their friends and family. Alongside plenty of pictures and messages to show that our residents are in their thoughts they’ve also been sending some DVDs as a way to keep everybody entertained during the lockdown period.
At Royal Bay Care Homes
we are grateful to everybody who has been showing extraordinary levels of kindness and goodwill to our residents & staff during these challenging times. Visit our Facebook page
